First time here a couple weeks ago and it was great! We got giant skinny margs that got me pretty tipsy. We also shared queso which was massive but pretty decent. I got the combo plate to try everything (tamale, tostada, rice and beans) and I really enjoyed everything. It's hard to find awesome mexican / tex-mex in denver but I really like this place. The service was great and the vibes were great too. I also really liked the tequila chicken, which my bf got. All around great meal that wasn't super expensive. And we didn't have to wait for a table!

I apologize for the bad picture but I started eating the food immediately because it smelt so good. This is a great addition to the neighborhood. They have fantastic green chilie, stiff drinks, friendly prices, and salsa with a kick. A place with that tex mex flair with green chile and the perfect amount of sloppiness. They also sell breakfast burritos all day.

The best things are made up of many good, little things. Enter Wapos. To start, it feels like walking into a good friends house. Sit wherever, be presented with (not your average) chips/salsa. Chips are thick enough to dip without wearing your appetizer. And the salsa: bold without being obnoxious. I ate 2 baskets myself. For drinks, of course it was a margherita. Tastey, refreshing, and punch packing. Worth every penny. Dinner was the Hot Dish(pork carnitas). Protein with slivered potatoes in a fantastic sauce. Refried beans, rice, guac, sour cream, lettuce/tomatoes, and warm corn tortillas. This plate is dangerously tasty. I ate far more than my fill, and I regret nothing. Honestly, if you leave hungry you've done something wrong. 11/10

This is the Mexican restaurant our neighborhood has been missing! Straight-forward, delicious, and well-priced. Complementary chips came with a nicely-spiced, traditional, restaurant-style salsa. I got the combo with an excellent chili-smothered carnitas burrito, a solid refried bean tostada, and a savory egg roll-style relleno. My husband had a smothered burrito with shredded beef. Both the shredded beef and carnitas fillings were nicely seasoned and flavorful. Service was quick and friendly. We left full and happy for less than $45, practically unheard of in Denver today.

We were greeted and waited on by Emilio who was an excellent professional in the industry, very personable and friendly. The 3 of us each ordered something different. Chimichanga, combo plate, and chili verde burrito(which was smothered in a jalapeรฑo chili instead of hatch green chili). All the food was fantastic and full of flavor. The prices were really good too! Similar prices to places like Qdoba and the food was leaps and bounds better. Complimentary chips and salsa were amazing too. This is a new restaurant in Cap Hill and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some awesome Mexican food.
